RaBIQs (Rare But Interesting Questions)

Q: Can you push back an opponent out of the playing area in close combat?

A: No, the push back ends at the edge of the playing area and the winner of the combat round gets no free strikes.

Q: Can you push back an opponent off a cliff in close combat?

A: As long as the winner of the close combat is able to push the whole model off the cliff by moving it 5cm, yes! If the model itself is longer than 5cm, it can be pushed off if it is in contact with the edge of the cliff. As for the consequences, apply the same rules of vehicle crashes (model takes a hit with a Pen equal to the PF of the material it hits). You should agree before the battle a general ruling on what terrain features constitute a cliff and what kind of hit the models should take (if you don't want to bother, just use the PF of earth, 8). Note that models not affected by push backs cannot be pushed off cliffs either.
