Alpha Aurora also quarantined |
After medics confirmed the diagnosis of "Fever 54-B", the colony Alpha Aurora has also been quarantined.
There is growing concern in the medical community for this is the first case of the disease on another planet.
"Officially no vessels from Darmax have visited Alpha Aurora; however the 'Regian Sky' has not been found yet and could be spreading the infection. All colonies, space stations and vessels are warned to avoid all contacts with the Regian Sky."
Alpha Aurora is a relatively new colony, with a a population of 253.000 and is not self-sufficient. Since the exact mechanism by which the disease is transmitted from one host to another is not yet fully understood, the Rightful Earth Alliance government is organizing drop off zones for supplies, avoiding any planet side landing.
